TIPS

Give your students sufficient “bottom breaks”

Published: January 25, 2015

Sitting in one place for 35-40 minutes is difficult for anyone! Make sure your students have some kind of transition every 5-8 minutes to give them a chance to have a quick break and refocus.

It can be an action activity, an extension activity, or be as simple as asking the students to stand as they sing a song or recite a poem.
