GrapeSEED is being used in New Jersey by Summit Public Schools to help young English Language Learners (ELL) and English as a Second Language (ESL) students establish a solid foundation with their English language. Independent research has shown that ELL/ESL learners exposed to GrapeSEED become proficient readers in half the time compared to traditional teaching methods. Awareness of how GrapeSEED is helping English language learners, economically disadvantaged students and other struggling students is growing throughout New Jersey. We look forward to helping educators throughout the state improve literacy in their schools and helping young students become proficient readers by third grade.
