At GrapeSEED, we have subjected our program to independent research studies in a wide range of settings, with a wide range of English learners.
Evolved from classrooms
In addition to the four decades of English teaching experience, GrapeSEED was developed with extensive feedback from teachers, who piloted lessons in their own classrooms. The lessons were revised based on feedback and classroom observation. The revised lessons were field-tested by entire schools in diverse settings and were again revised before final publication.
Results validated by studies
Through questionnaires, surveys, and interviews, we have subjected our program to evaluations by administrators, teachers, trainers and researchers that have assessed the effects on student’s language achievement and growth.
These evaluations have shown that when well implemented, GrapeSEED has a powerful, positive effect on students, including strengthening their motivation to learn English, and a lifetime of excellence in language.
Our commitment to continued research and evaluating the effectiveness of GrapeSEED has led to ongoing research with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) and English Language Learners (ELL) / English as a Second Language (ESL) students, and in early childhood education classrooms.
